N Blog (2012-11-30 16:38:58) – ‘Thank you for your support, everyone.’

I’m sorry for the sudden report.

I debuted with the second generation, and I have been in AKB for a long time. I have experienced a lot, met a lot of people, parted with many people, and it has been a wonderful experience.
I have been here for six and a half years, and this summer’s Tokyo Dome concert was amazing.
Even though it has always been my dream to perform at Tokyo Dome, I didn’t stand out during the concert. It was proof to me that I will always remember this experience.

I joined AKB at 15, and now that I have turned 22, I have thought about many things. Suddenly I see the world as a huge place, and I’ve thought,
“Ahh, I’m only 22.”
That’s what I think.

I have been looking at things really narrowly. But right now I’ve noticed that there are many challeges, and can not do everything at once.
For this reason, I am going to focus on studying for college and towards graduation. I will work hard at that.

From now on, I will focus all of my efforts on schoolwork, and leave the entertainment industry.

I have decided that I will graduate selfishly, and I’m sorry for all of the troubles I have caused.

To the fans who supported me.

Thank you for the smiles and love.
Everyone’s smiles have sparkled so much.
You gave me so much courage,
But I haven’t given enough.
I used to be so weak.
Fans have cheered me up so much.
I really treasure it, and it’s so heartening every day.
I’m really thankful for all of the support.
Thank you so much.

Everyone in my family.
Thank you for always being my support.
I know I have caused a lot of troubles, and made so many cry.
Until now, I’ve gotten so much love.
After this, I’ll repay you doubly! Thank you so much.

Staff, and all the other members.

The staff has always given me such great advice.

Together with your laughter and tears, we came so far as members.

I’ve been really happy to have
Everyone with me.
I smile and cry
From the bottom of my heart
Just for you.

I have seen you all
With all of my power every day,
And we will share that experience.

This life is my treasured thing.

I’m happy,

And this was such a happy time.

Thank you so much.

N Day 2011 Wrap-Up!
July 2, 2011

So… Natsuki had her birthday yesterday. I sent her birthday present a little over a week ago. There’s a three-page fan letter basically detailing anything that has happened since her last birthday. I even tried my hand at including some kanji, hiragana, and katakana. It’s laughable at best, but I hope she’ll be able to read at least a little of it. Her present is a keychain. It’s a football helmet from University of Iowa, the college I’m going to. Why this? The helmet is featured in SNSD’s “Oh!” MV. Natsuki loves her K-Pop (although I don’t think she’s ever referenced SNSD (she likes KARA, T-ara, and IU, among others)), so I hope she gets the reference! I baked brownies with some friends. Just pretend it’s a cake. Brownies sounded better at the time! There were also a few great firework shows on her birthday… so I vote that they were actually done in celebration for her.

Happy birthday, Natsuki!

  • Natsuki is all over it.
  • Her sweatshirt is off her shoulder.
  • She’s wearing short shorts in the stage costume.
  • She’s gorgeous in the promo billboard.
  • Natsuki gets the solo line right before the chorus.

Jan-Ken-Pon has spoken: Uchida Mayumi is literally the luckiest girl in AKB48.
September 21, 2010

That’s right, unpopular New Team K member Uchida Mayumi won the center position for AKB’s upcoming 19th single, to be released December 8th.  Senbatsu, decided by chance, are listed below.  Bolded names indicate media senbatsu.

01. Uchida Mayumi
02. Ishida Haruka
03. Kojima Haruna
04. Nakagawa Haruka
05. Maeda Ami
06. Sato Sumire
07. Sato Natsuki
08. Takajo Aki
09. Nakatsuka Tomomi
10. Kuramochi Asuka
11. Kobayashi Kana

12. Tanabe Miku
13. Kasai Tomomi
14. Matsui Sakiko
15. Maeda Atsuko
16. Chikano Rina

For half of the girls, this is the first senbatsu they’ve been in.  Only four here are consistently selected for singles.

Natsuki is in senbatsu.  At ‘Lucky Seven,’ she is within media senbatsu.  Compare that to the last time she was in an official senbatsu: ‘Keitbetsu Shiteita Aijou,’ which was three years and eight months before the 19th single’s street date.

Also decided in the tournament were the members of the single’s Under Girls and Theater Girls.

Under Girls

Shinoda Mariko
Watanabe Mayu
Miyazawa Sae
Kitahara Rie
Akimoto Sayaka
Sashihara Rino
Nito Moeno
Sato Amina
Oota Aika
Umeda Ayaka
Matsubara Natsumi
Hirajima Natsumi
Katayama Haruka
Nakata Chisato
Nonaka Misato
Kobayashi Marina

Theater Girls

Oshima Yuko
Takahashi Minami
Itano Tomomi
Kashiwagi Yuki
Minegishi Minami
Miyazaki Miho
Kikuchi Ayaka
Komori Mika
Oku Manami
Masuda Yuka
Fujie Reina
Yonezawa Rumi
Suzuki Mariya
Nakaya Sayaka

#7 in the Janken Pon Tournament.

Happy 20th Birthday, Natsuki!
June 30, 2010

I hope you receive your presents from me soon.  And I hope you are happy.  Today’s your day!

Also, I’ve been very careful when posting at Stage48 for the past two months.  Why?  So I could time this to land on today.

(I totally just noticed that my profile says ‘Minnesota.’  I’ve got to change that back to ‘Iowa.’
