Natsuki is Now Tax-Deductable?

AKB48 has been helping out charities for a few months now, and I think our very own Sato Natsuki has been winning the quality and quantity awards.  Off the top of my head, charity auctions have been set up using Natsuki four times, and the other participants (Kuramochi Asuka, Noro Kayo, and Naruse Risa (I think?)) only twice.  See: not only is Natsuki profitable for Akimoto, but also people in need!  Now that’s an efficient use of an idol.

From my understanding, the AKB48 member signs an item, takes a Polaroid with said item, and decorates the Polaroid.  The picture and the item are then auctioned on Yahoo! Japan. (Linked to the most important page…)

In her first run, she worked with a pair of glasses and a wallet.  The glasses are the weirdest item I’ve seen for auction so far.  They were signed on the lenses, thus making them useless and unwearable… not that I can imagine many wota in pink spectacles.

The wallet is Hello Kitty, and miniscule, so that’s definitely a display item as well.

A miniature doll.  Cute, but by no means interesting…  And…

Lip gloss.  Wow.  Who thought of this one?  Best idea ever.  What wota wouldn’t want to own a tube of something that could possibly (but most likely not) have touched Natsuki’s lips?  Seriously, though.  Best auction idea ever.  Scientists could have cured cancer, world hunger, and poverty if they thought of this sooner.

In conclusion, this whole auction thing is genius and should be exploited.  I’m waiting for Sato Natsuki-endorsed cowboy boots.
